James qualified as a solicitor in 1978 and worked in two West of Ireland legal firms, before setting up in practice himself.
As a member of the Mayo Solicitors Bar Association & the Council of The Law Society of Ireland for over ten years, James Cahill is actively involved in the legal profession.
James has a wealth of experience in all areas of legal practice and specialises in Probate & Administration of Estates, Tax & Estate Planning Matters and Commercial and Residential Conveyancing.

IT / Accounts / Genealogy Researcher
Niamh has worked with Cahill & Cahill for over 20 years and has vast knowledge and experience in legal administration and procedure in the areas of Property Law, Probate and Administration of Estates.
Sue joined Cahill & Cahill from an Information Technology background and now oversees the firms IT requirements including case management and accounts software.
Sue is also a Genealogy Researcher for Cahill & Cahill, who provides a genealogical service as part of the Probate Department.
